GÉO-3D has developed the TRIDENT-3D solution to inventory network infrastructure assets spread over large territories in a more efficient, rapid, safe and cost-effective manner. The system uses several geo-technologies that are applied in an integrated fashion.

New to version 4.1

TRIDENT-3D is a georeferenced land videography system.
This open scalable solution relies on the use of high resolution digital cameras (IEEE1394), positioning systems (GPS receivers, DMI, IMU) and photogrammetric features to create a unique GIS data collection tool.

This system is designed to inventory roadside infrastructure assets and features managed by:

  • Transportation authorities (roads, public transit, railways, etc.)
  • Utilities (telecommunications, electric distribution, etc.)
  • Municipalities

Main fields of application include the following:

  • Videologging
  • Inventory of roadside infrastructure assets (road signs, guardrails, light poles, etc.)
  • Road lane measurements
  • Railway infrastructure survey
  • Inventory of forest roads
  • Inventory of electric distribution networks and/or telecommunications infrastructures (poles, equipment in poles, etc.)

  • Property valuation, taxation and insurance

The TRIDENT-3D data collection methodology is split in two phases:

Phase 1 involving geo-referenced image data collection from a land or rail vehicle with KRONOS Software.

Phase 2 involving data extraction from a user desk with TRIDENT-3D Analyst Software.
